Terms of Service — Ensembly
Last updated: July 31st 2026
This is a draft — please have it reviewed by counsel before publishing.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using the Ensembly app or related services (“Ensembly”, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Ensembly on behalf of an organization (a theatre, school, or other cultural entity), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you and the organization.
2. What Ensembly is
Ensembly is production-planning software for theatre and cultural organizations — covering rehearsal scheduling, cast and crew management, calendars, and related workspace tools — provided by Same Time Tomorrow AS (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Norway (org. no. 920245609).
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. Ensembly is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country).
4. Your workspace and content
Content uploaded to a workspace — scripts, calendars, cast rosters, tasks, and similar production data — remains the property of you or your organization. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and support the Service. You’re responsible for having the right to upload that content and for managing who you invite into your workspace.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful; attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service beyond what the law permits; upload malicious code; or access data belonging to a workspace you haven’t been invited to.
6. Subscriptions and fees
Where an organization has a paid subscription, billing terms are set out at sign-up or in your invoice. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscriptions.
7. Third-party components
The app includes open-source components and embedded fonts that run on your device. License notices are available in the app under Settings → About.
8. Service availability and changes
We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, suspend, or change features from time to time, including for maintenance, and will try to give notice of material changes.
9. Termination
You may stop using Ensembly at any time and request account deletion (see our Account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service, giving notice where reasonably possible.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. Same Time Tomorrow AS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
